ANTICIPATED VACANCIES FOR 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR:
The Potsdam Central School District is seeking a collaborative and innovative leader to join our dynamic administrative team. The Director of Curriculum and Instruction will support the Building Principals and instructional staff, providing oversight, professional development, and coordination of all activities related to curriculum and instructional practice, including technology integration. The successful candidate will have experience as a classroom teacher, familiarity with curriculum mapping, and expertise in the area of instructional technology. The Director of Curriculum and Instruction will coordinate efforts between the Teacher Center Director, Teacher Leaders, and Building Principals to support district goals; facilitate cross grade-level curricular decisions; analyze student assessment data; and coordinate staff development programs. In addition, he/she will help lead the District’s one-to-one technology initiative and support the instructional staff in the integration of technology in a manner that transforms student learning experiences while adhering to standards of digital citizenship and data privacy.
