For Potsdam and Merger Schools (Norwood and Colton) MODIFIED Football 7th-9th (9th Graders not playing Varsity Football) Grade Players.

If a player did not obtain a fall physical in the Spring or does not have plans to have a Personal/Family Doctor Physical, there is a tentative date for Tuesday, August 13th for make-up/missed physical dates. Football equipment will be provided and handed out prior to the first day of practice. Players will need to pick up equipment on one of the following dates (you do not need to come to both): Thursday, August 22 or Friday, August 23 between 2:30-5:00 PM, in front of Potsdam High School Half Circle. We will have signs directing students to the exact room location (Basement equipment room).

Recommended equipment to be obtained by the athlete are: football cleats, jock-strap with a cup and a labeled water bottle if they do not want to use team issued water bottles.

MODIFIED FOOTBALL - First day of practice is Monday, August 26th, 2024, at 2:30-4:30 PM behind Potsdam AAK Middle School. Please bring all Football Equipment to practice as players will be issued lockers to store their equipment in. Practice will be Monday-Friday and tentative 9AM-11AM Saturday Practice, if need be. Players should always have shorts and/or sweatpants, sneakers (just in case of indoor practices) and cleats with them. For players to be eligible to play in the first scrimmage or any game after that they must have at least 10 full practices in.

MODIFIED Football Parent Meeting is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 28th 4:40 PM right after practice that day.
