Potsdam, NY –
Voters in the Potsdam Central School District approved the schools’ proposed 2023-24 budget and bus purchase proposition on Tuesday, May 16.
The budget, which passed 291 votes to 51, represents a 1.3M, or 3.7%, increase over the current spending plan. The bus proposition received 306 votes of approval and 45 in opposition, and will allow for the purchase of two school buses.
In addition to two budget propositions, residents also voted to elect three individuals to serve on the district’s board of education. Keith Sapp, Jarrod Davis, and Rick Miller will each serve a three-year term beginning on July 1, 2023.
