Mr. Patrick Brady is superintendent of the Potsdam Central School District (2005—Present). He holds a B.A. in History and Masters of Science degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from SUNY Potsdam. He also earned a Masters in Eeducational Administration from St. Lawrence University. Mr. Brady taught high school social studies at Potsdam Central School for 12 years and was an advisor to several extracurricular organizations: Speech & Debate Team founder and coach; Voice of Democracy; School Newspaper; Yearbook; Mock Trial; and Whiz Quiz. Mr. Brady was a summer school teacher for the Massena Central School District before becoming its principal in 2000. He served as assistant principal at Massena High School from 2000-2002 and principal at J. William Leary Junior High in Massena from 2002-2005. For eight years, Mr. Brady was the town supervisor of Potsdam (1996-2003) and served 11 years total on the Potsdam Town Council. He resides in Potsdam with his wife Kelley and two of his five children—Connor & Jack. Three daughters have graduated and are pursuing careers through college and the military.
