To donate to existing scholarships and memorial funds, checks should be made out to "Potsdam Central School" and mailed to:

Please note the name of the Scholarship on the check.

- SCOTT & AMELIA ANDERSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a graduating senior who plans to further their education and has actively participated in music and athletics throughout high school. **** Monetary award ****
- R. DOUGLAS ARQUETTE SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a graduating senior who plans to enter a 2 or 4 year program in a field related to journalism or history. R. Douglas was a graduate of the PCS Class of 1969. **** Monetary award ****
- GEORGE FISHER MEMORIAL AWARD : Presented to a baseball player that receives the batting championship award. Based on the attributes of integrity, a positive spirit and a love for the game. **** Monetary award ****
- CHAD FULLER MEMORIAL AWARD : Presented to a football player that loves the game, has fun playing the game and is willing to give of himself and forego personal goals for the better of the team. Chad was a football player for PCS and a 1998 graduate. He was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2003 while serving in the United States Army. **** Name on plaque in High School trophy case ****
- HAL GILLETTE ATHLETIC MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to (male/female) graduating senior athletes furthering their education. General criteria include the demonstration of professional conduct, both on and off the court and "a give it all you've got" athlete who has been respectful towards other athletes, coaches, officials, fans and opposing players. **** Monetary award ****
- VIRGINIA MORGAN GILLIGAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: Presented to a student pursuing a career in the field of education. Ms. Gilligan was a graduate of PCS and Potsdam College in the late 1930's and taught at the Potsdam Lawrence Avenue School. **** Monetary award ****
- BARBARA HARTLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated achievement in academics, while participating in extracurricular activities. **** Monetary award ****
- JAMES HOUSE MEMORIAL AWARD : Award in recognition of the most improved Hockey player. **** Trophy & name on plaque located in the High School trophy case****
- DANNY JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated good character and is athletically inclined with preference to football. **** Monetary award ****
- MICHELLE LALONDE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: Presented to a graduating senior who displays these characteristics of Michelle: Cheerful, Positive, Respectful, Athletic, Ambitious and Humorous. Michelle was a member of the Class of 1995. **** Monetary award ****

- SHANNA PUTNAM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to an outstanding female senior who is a talented athlete and excellent student and actively involved in the school and community. Also a true friend to all, a kind heart, owner of charming and lighthearted sense of humor and an all around talented and respected individual on her way to a bright and promising future. - HELEN SULLIVAN SPOTTS SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a student who is planning on attending Nursing School or plans to study in the field of medicine. Mrs. Spotts was a 1955 Graduate of PCS and served 35 years in the nursing profession. **** Monetary award ****
- TRAVIS SAMUEL WATERS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a senior who exhibits similar traits as compared to Travis. The main criteria are that they demonstrate a love and talent for art and nature. Travis was a 1998 graduate of PCS. **** Monetary award ****
- TOM WEBSTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a girl that has participated in the basketball program throughout her high school years, and to a boy who has participated in the baseball program throughout his high school years. **** Monetary award ****
- CHRISTIAN HOUSE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP : Presented to a senior boy or girl who is headed to college or trade school and who exemplifies Christian's qualities and personality: generous, caring, fun-loving, likes to make others laugh and feel better if they are having a bad day, competitive and hard-working. ****Monetary award****
- JOHN WELCH MEMORIAL FUND : The John Welch Fund was established to recognize John's perpetual care and concern for students in need (or at risk) in the Potsdam Community. In his spirit, funds are easily available for children's current academic needs
