Wade Davis has been a district resident for several years and currently lives in the Village of Potsdam with his wife, Julie, and their three children ages six, five, and two-and-a-half years. With two of three children currently attending Potsdam Central School, Wade’s top priority is to preserve the quality educational programs for all students over the long term. Wade graduated from Heuvelton Central School, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from SUNY Potsdam and two Master’s degrees from Clarkson University; one in Engineering and Global Operations Management and the other in Business Administration.
Wade is active in upstate energy and infrastructure-related issues and holds utility-level certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers as an Energy Manager (CEM), Demand Side Management (CDSM), Energy Procurement (CEP), and Business Energy Professional (BEP) possessing a broad background in energy and transportation related-issues currently facing medium to large facilities.
Community-minded, Wade has served as Past President of the Potsdam Lions Club, the Town of Potsdam’s representative to and current Vice Chair of the Alliance for Municipal Power (AMP), is a member of the St. Lawrence County Planning Board, and the Village of Potsdam’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
Wade brings solid fiscal discipline, education, and institutional work experience to the table enabling sound choices during difficult financial times.
