Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at PHS! I am excited to have you in my class and hope we can learn and have some joy together this year.

This year in French, we will be using an approach called Comprehensible Input. The main idea of this approach is that language isn't "learned", it is "acquired." For more information on this approach, please go to:
French 4 students are learning a bit about the French Cultural Exchange whereas French 2 pupils will soon start corresponding with their French pen pals from Cholet, France.
In Spanish, we are reviewing the basics and using DuoLingo and VHL Central to practice. We will be using guided notebooks this year, as well.
In Graphic Design, we have a great group of students and are excited to make some site visits, go to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and spend lots of time learning some of the Adobe software and how to use the Dell Canvas. We will also have some guest speakers visit is this year.
